Make Your Own Reflective Tags

I recently purchased a nice leather messenger/briefcase bag from Rustic Leather. I like everything about it, except for one element: the Timbuk2 messenger bags I previously used had dangling reflective tags which made me more visible when walking at night.

I looked for something similar to attach to my new bag’s copious amount of D rings, but did not find anything like those tags – so I decided to make my own.

Starting tomorrow (9/29) and continuing every Saturday in October ALL Guitar Center stores in the US are offering free ukulele classes. BYO uke, or they will provide a loaner. Classes start at 10:15am local time and each class will be the same content, so if you are a total newbie you can sign up for several and practice your basic chops.

Planning For And Handling Sudden Blog Notoriety

If you are relatively new to being a public blogger one of your goals is probably to attract a larger readership. But are you ready for the day one of your posts suddenly goes viral?

It happened to me last week – I wrote an article giving my point of view on a topic about Amanda Palmer. She referenced the link in her subsequent social media communications and suddenly I had 4000 page views in 48 hours!
